In recent years, my country's used bus export market has continued to expand. With policy support and customized services, its export footprint now covers Southeast Asia, Africa, South America, and Central Asia. In November 2024, Gansu Logistics Group successfully exported domestically produced used buses to Kazakhstan using an "online declaration + self-driving relay" model, achieving a breakthrough in the Central Asian market.
Exported used buses undergo rigorous testing and refurbishment. 12-meter buses, due to their spaciousness and stable performance, have become a popular category. Companies can provide customized services based on overseas customer needs, including changes to vehicle size, interior configuration, and powertrain systems. All exported vehicles meet the safety and environmental standards of the target regions.
At the policy level, relevant departments have simplified the procedures for transferring ownership of used buses in different locations, obtaining licenses, and customs clearance, reducing the average export cost per vehicle by 780 yuan. Driven by these policy benefits, Guangdong once set a record of exporting over 500 used vehicles in a single day, including various used bus models. The industry predicts that the export volume will reach hundreds of thousands of units in the next 3-5 years.
